This is an important memorial to visit as it's a stark reminder of the injustices visited upon "others" out of ignorance , fear and prejudice. May it never happen again.

So grateful that this place is still here. As a grandchild of an internee I've always wanted to learn more. Since what they teach in our schools is not enough. The host here was very knowledgeable and the gardens are stunning. This centre is very well preserved and should be on everyone's bucket list so that we do not lose this important and sad part of Canada's history.

A beautiful memorial to some of WW2's dark moments on our homefront

Unique experience where you can see Japanese Canadian internment cabins preserved with many artefacts.

A nice way to honor the Japanese who were treated so unfairly by removing them from their homes and businesses and put in camps.

So much respect for how they handled it.
