Server was friendly. Coffee and food we're good. Kids love the ice cream and flavored Italian sodas.

So where do we start?.. Our first encounter at this lovely little coffee shop seemed great, both my boyfriend and I were greeted by a kind young woman who is always smiling. It was when we sat down that we began to realize, the lady in the back, for who we can only presume is the 'owner', has got to be one of the most rudest people we have ever came across! Imagine a scenario where you have a single mom with two children asking for a smoothie in 2 cups, obviously to the rest of the world this is no big deal, but we could see the tension begin to rise, but how dare she ask for two lids for the smoothies!! Of course this again is no big deal, but the owner of the Nuru sees things a little differently. Unfortunately we decided to give this place another try, we thought that maybe this lady was simply having a bad day... Day2- again my boyfriend and I grab a coffee and take our seat, once again the customer service from the girl at the counter was fantastic.. once again the owner had something to complain about. There was a young couple sat just across from us, they paid for their food, drinks and also for the wifi ($2 charge for the password!!), the young man tries to charge his laptop as he has business to attend to, to our disbelief the owner then states how she doesn't run a Internet cafe (even though she makes money through her charge for wifi?) and how she doesn't need the young mans buisness. Unfortunately this was not a normal woman having a bad day, she seems to be having a bad year, from reading past reviews we have seen a pattern that occurs, this lady is rude and clearly has no concern for her customers, we like many others would advice that you avoid this place at all cost, if you choose to go against our advice, make sure you are ready for a battle because the owner doesn't like strangers!!

Extremely rude staff. I was ushered out of the establishment because I'd been there for longer than 5 minutes without purchasing anything even though other members of my party had made multiple purchases. I was taking a few minutes to catch up on emails then was planning to buy a beverage when I was rudely slapped on the foot by who I can only assume was the owner and asked to buy something or get out. Which I was happy to do and take my business elsewhere in the process. I was one of 5 people in the building at the time, so it wasn't like I was taking up valuable real estate. Oh well. Nice town, not nice coffee shop...

Completely agree with other unhappy customers. Owner seemed to resent me asking for a coffee and paying for the password. Then she got really angry and snappy when I wanted to plug in my laptop. Wish I'd read these reviews before I went in there... Don't patronize her.

There is a basic social contract that when you charge $5 for a coffee, the wifi is free. This place seems to think that $2 to check my email is reasonable. The freckled young lady working the counter was cordial and sweet as pie. Cash only so I couldn't partake in the food.
